Bio
Hi, my name is Ann Merritt. This is my fifth year at Burlington Elementary and my 16th year teaching in Colorado. I have previously taught 5th grade, 3rd grade, 2nd grade and Kindergarten before becoming an academic support teacher for English Language Learners. I grew up in Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia with my Masters in Elementary and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I live in Longmont with my husband Andrew, our two sons, Clement and Tommy, and our Brittany Spaniel, Merry Merritt. On the weekends, you can find us out and about, exploring all the outdoor activities that Boulder County has to offer. My favorite thing about Burlington is our amazing community and being able to work with students each year as they grow from Kindergarteners to 5th graders.
