Colorado has been my home for my entire life. I was born and raised in the Longmont/Boulder area and attended high school at Silver Creek. After high school I moved to Durango, Colorado and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree- Licensure in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Linguistically Diverse Education. Upon graduating college I moved back to Longmont and took a teaching position at Burlington. I have been a member of the Burlington Elementary community teaching 5th grade since August 2010. In May 2014 I graduated from University of Colorado with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Literacy. While I am not teaching I love to run, bike, camp, 4-wheel, swim, and coach swimming. I am currently the assistant swim coach for Longmont High School Boys Swim Team. Working at Burlington Elementary is so rewarding. The students, parents, and staff are wonderful.
