Superintendent’s Update – October 2017

Dear St. Vrain Valley Community,

It has been an outstanding start to the academic year and I want to thank our students, families, teachers, staff and other partners for continuing to support St. Vrain Valley Schools’ drive for excellence in serving our community and advancing public education.

Over the past couple of months, I have had the opportunity to speak with many of you through a number of community engagement events, including our eight community meetings, three boundary discussion forums, athletic and performing arts events, back-to-school nights, Leadership St. Vrain sessions, Board of Education meetings and many other public events. Through these engaging conversations, one thing is always clear – our community deeply values the achievement and success of our students and the importance of high-quality public schools in our community.

Our unwavering commitment is that we will continue to work in collaboration with parents, teachers, staff, elected officials and business partners to deliver the highest quality education that provides our students with a strong competitive advantage for their future.

This month, we are especially proud to launch the latest edition of St. Vrainnovation Magazine – a publication celebrating the significant impact of education. Through the generous support of local sponsors, you will be receiving a printed copy in the mail. We also invite you to explore the stories online to see how St. Vrain is empowering student, teacher and community excellence.

Thank you for your ongoing support and for championing the success of our current and future generations.

Sincerely,
Don Haddad, Ed.D.
